The Amazing Adventures of Super Stan
Grey Main school pupils invited Rooms 1, 7 and 8 to a play they were
putting on on the 7th of August. They were putting on a play called
The Amazing Adventures of Super Stan. Grey Main perform a play
annually. The play was at Grey Main hall in Greymouth. Grey Main Pupils
invited us to the dress rehearsal so that they could have an audience in
front of them.
Firstly, we received an invitation to go. We didn’t have to pay to go because
it was a dress rehearsal. We bussed down to the play in the afternoon.
The play started at 12:50. It didn’t take long for the play to start when
we got there.
The play started with Stanley dreaming. Stanley was a very clumsy boy who
lives a pretty normal life He was dreaming that the Bogey Man was in town
and that he needed to save the town. He turned into Super Stan and
defeated the Bogey Man.
Next, the Candy King fed the gobstoppers to the townspeople.
The gobstoppers are actually controlling. Soon all
the townspeople were under the Candy King’s Power.
Mayor Donut was the only one who refused to eat a gobstopper.
Stan’s Grandma comes
and tells Stan that she and her friends are running a
marathon. She also tells Stan that she has a secret.
She and her friends invented Formula 44. Formula 44
was a serum that makes you turn into a Superhero.
When Stan was little Grandma accidentally gave Stan
half a dose of Formula 44 in his bottle instead of milk.
Stan, and his family found out that the Candy King was Bad.
They find out because everyone in the town was under the
Candy King's Command.
Grandma injected Stan with the other half of the Serum and
Stan started to transform into a Superhero. He went through
some stages to become a superhero. First, he started to shake.
Then he started to make animal noises. After that he sung opera.
Finally, he began to fart. He was now Super Stan. Grandma gave
Stan his Grandads Super Undies. They are elastic undies that make
stan be able to defy gravity. That was the only thing that Formula
44 couldn’t do.
Stan went and tried to defeat the Candy King. When he got near the
Candy King's lair though, his powers start to run out until they completely
ran out. Stan was very sad. Luckily his Grandma came and injected the serum
into him before he went into the lair.
Super Stan went into the Candy King’s Lair. He and the Candy
King had a fight. In the end Super Stan defeated the Candy King.
The Candy King Shrunk. Then Grandma gets the mini Candy King.
The Characters ended the show by coming up and bowing. The show
ended up going for about 1: 50 minutes
I really enjoyed watching the show because it was very
entertaining. It was quite a funny show which was very cool.
It made me laugh sometimes.
