For the past two weeks each week we have had a Maori word of the week. We had to draw a comic strip using the word of the week. The first weeks word was 'Aroha mai (sorry) ' and the second weeks word was 'Haere ra ( goodbye ( to those leaving). Here is my work.

Learning Intention

We are learning to represent a te reo message through visual language.

Success criteria:

Create a comic strip character who will be used to carry your understanding of each phrase of the week.
