Hi Dakota
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Summer Learning Journey teaser week. My name is Allie and I am the cluster manager for Toki Pounamu.
You have done a great job with your pepeha or mihi. This is just fantastic. Do you know your mihi off by heart?
Your friends have some really great things to be proud of. What are you proud of?
The SLJ starts on Monday 16th December, this is when you start earning points for the activities that you post on your blog. I really hope that over the summer you will give it a go!
We are all really looking forward to reading your work over the holidays. I hope that you have been doing something fun at school for the last week.
Enjoy your last few days at school.
Keep up the great work Dakota
Allie :)

ReplyDeleteIt's great to see that you have chosen to participate to test out the Summer Learning Journey teaser week. As I was reading your pepeha/mihi, I noticed one of the special places you enjoy is Gentle Annie! I searched it up and I can see why you like it so much. One thing though Gentle Annie is a name so on the word 'Gentle' there should be a capital letter.
It's amazing how our history and generations go back isn't it? I loved reading your pepeha and getting to know you more.
Tino Pai Dakota!
